This movie shows that when the dense solution of DMSO is ejected into
an inverted plate containing buffer, the DMSO stays at the meniscus
until the plate is returned to an upright position. The DMSO
solution, then diffuses through the medium gradually rather than as a
bolus. ADE prevents non-uniform exposure to high levels of DMSO and
drug compounds.
